Goals

  • Introduce The Vegan Patty Lady’s brand pitch in a Cap Table competition, helping the brand securing fundings to support the business operation.
  • Position The Vegan Patty Lady brand as “The pioneer Vegan category leading brand” within the party food category.

Challenge

The business, being a new-entrant still has limited knowledge in FMCG and very limited time to effitiently bolster its pitch and secure investment. 

Approach

Working very closely with the founder, we used a hybrid framework from Investment pitch and Retail FMCG pitch in order to create a compelling winning pitch. Leveraging market research, and several datapoints, we built a robust pitch framework that included:

  •  Category performance and future source of growth
  •  Evolving consumer demand
  • Unique Brand Differentiation within the competitive landscape (focusing on the brand uniqueness and its ability to drive incremental growth for the category)
  •  Proven Market Validations & Early Wins: showcasing brand credentials and successes
    achieved to date
  •  Allocation of the fundings
  • Brand successes to come

This enabled us to bolster The Vegan Patty Lady’s brand profile as a pioneering FMCG brand within the fast-growing “Free-from” and “Vegan” categories – increasing its appeal towards the panel of judges from the Cap Table Competition and securing fundings for the brand.
